As a good networking resource and campus reconnection outlet, Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association chapters serve the cultural and practical interests of alumni. Alumni can choose from ten active chapters* — or perhaps even form a new one. Chapter activities benefit not only the members themselves, but also the university and Cal Poly Pomona students as well.

LAMBDA The Lambda Chapter was chartered in 1999 with members Laura Darshan and Linda Adams. The chapter was formed to provide a means for gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, and questioning alumni and their allies to stay in touch while also supporting the non-heterosexual students currently attending Cal Poly Pomona. The Lambda Chapter helps sponsor events such as the annual Lavender Graduation Celebration, the Pride Center's Scholarship Dinner, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Month. LGTB graduates are encouraged to join the Lambda Chapter so it can continue to grow in number and influence.
