the Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society Welcomes you.

We are a Sociology Club dedicated to offering students a community within this field of study. The Alpha Kappa Delta is an international honor society in addition to the Sociology Club. The goal and purpose of AKD is reflected in its name, Anthropon (mankind) Katamanthanein (to investigate or research) Diakonesein (for the purpose of service). As a result, AKD strives to promote the study of social issues and serve humankind, while at the same time providing an extracurricular outlet for students interested in the study of sociology.
