  Bold items are to be written up carefullly and submitted by the beginning of class on the due date. Items in parentheses are worth at least looking at and sketching out a solution method. All others should be fully worked out as part of your preparation for exams! "Minireports" are ~one page reports on a topic germane to the class that you have researched on the web. They should be in the form of a brief summary of the topic and any interesting facts you learn about the topic from your web research. I strongly prefer that they be composed on a computer so that you can easily proofread and edit them (as I expect you to do in any event.)
