Good Day,

My name is Barrett Brooks and I am a recruiting partner with Chrysler Group LLC.

With the start of a brand new year, our organization would like the opportunity to put on display our new brand, which is the “New Chrysler.” With the automotive industry now more competitive than ever before, Chrysler desires to have the country’s best engineering students be a part of history in the making! We aspire to develop and maintain progressive long-term relationships with the nation’s top universities, yours being one.

The unemployment rate in America is highly comparable to economic times of the Great Depression; so many students entering this brave new world of “work” are hoping for the chance to put their expensive education to good use; we would like to offer that hope to them.

Although times are tough, we are optimistic about providing a bright pathway for America’s future leaders in Industrial Manufacturing. Our “New Chrysler” represents the epitome of change and innovation. Today, we offer endless possibilities for tomorrow’s chief engineers.

As you may know, we are currently engrossed in a nationwide search for the best engineering students. Chrysler Group LLC has deemed your institution a national leader in Engineering programs of study. We would like to offer your graduating students the opportunity to make the “New Chrysler” their choice for employment in today’s highly competitive job market. Students graduating in the Spring of 2011 are ideal candidates whom will possess an Engineering degree. I will be in contact with your university soon concerning the job opportunities that await your current and alumni students.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact me at your convenience!

Also, please forward this email to prospective students looking for career opportunities:

Erich Lee (an Aerospace alumni) is a current Systems Engineer at JPL, and he is asking for Aerospace students to send their resumes to him at Erich.R.Lee@JPL.NASA.gov      if they are interested in summer positions. In addition, he would like recommendation letters from them, which the professors can send separately to his email address.
