Community Service

The College of Agriculture opens its doors to benefit the community

Classes and Community Service

A mother and baby at a local hospital
From Pet therapy to Nutrition Education in Spanish or producing Neonatal baby sets for a local hospital, our classes engage in learning activities that directly benefit the community. Students learn about their future careers in classes but they also learn how their profession might give back to the community.  Read about our activities in this area:

Student Clubs, Faculty and Community Service

From participation in fundraisers for cancer, food drives for the needy or giving back to the College of Ag through Ag Beautification activity, our student clubs are very community minded.

Faculty members also reach out to the community and serve in a variety of capacities.
