April 22 – The Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association Presents "A Night at the San Diego Opera" with Cal Poly Pomona alumna and leading operatic soprano Carol Vaness. Join Cal Poly Pomona alumni and friends for an exclusive pre-opera backstage tour at 6:30 p.m. before the 8 p.m. performance. A post-performance reception with Ms. Vaness will be held at the Westgate Hotel.

Carol Vaness '74, one of the world's leading sopranos, sings the lead in Vanessa, an opera by Samuel Barber.
