Welcome to ADVANCE at CPP

Welcome to Cal Poly Pomona’s ADVANCE Institutional Transformation Award website. Our goal is to create a university-wide system of recruitment, retention and development that increase the number of women faculty in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines and enable them to further their careers.

Program objectives include:

  • Institutional Assessment, Development and Sustainability
  • Recruitment
  • Career Development
  • Leadership Development

Funded with a 5-year grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), our program activities are designed to facilitate conversations and engage the campus community on issues that will improve the professional lives of STEM faculty. Please join our effort in strengthening our ability to recruit talented and diverse faculty to CPP.

“What makes this project so exciting and promising is that it really has the potential to make a difference since our grant activities directly address needs that were identified by faculty.”
