Discover Cal Poly Pomona (off campus)

Prospective students and their families are invited to meet with Cal Poly Pomona students and representatives to learn more about the Cal Poly Pomona experience and the admission and enrollment processes.

Residential Intensive Summer Education Program (RISE)

RISE is a four-day three-night residential program for prospective, underrepresented first-time students during the month of August. RISE assists students and their families to become connected to the university and its programs and services, making the transition to college easier.

College — Making It Happen

CollegeMaking It Happen, for high school students and their families, features workshops about the four systems of higher education, financial aid, admissions requirements, applying to college, and preparing academically for college.

Counselors Day

Counselors Day invites high school and community college counselors and science & AVID teachers to the campus to learn more about the programs and opportunities available for students.

African American Scholarship Dinner

Cal Poly Pomona Black Student Union sponsors this program to assist the university in its expressed goal of increasing the enrollment of African American students by providing scholarships. This is a joint gala co-sponsored by BSU, the Office of Admissions and Outreach, the African American Student Center, and the Black Faculty & Staff Association.

College Day

Cal Poly Pomona’s Black Student Union takes pleasure in inviting local area high school students to be its guest for this unique program. This is a wonderful opportunity to expose students to our university and to motivate them to think about their aspirations.
