Reduction of Travel

Primary Impact: Students

  • Overall opportunities for student international travel will be reduced.
  • Study Abroad, international exchanges and overseas internships will be reduced.
  • Recruitment from abroad of international students will be reduced.
  • The campus’ ability to identify underrepresented students from diverse locations will decrease.

  • Opportunities for faculty research and scholarship will be reduced.
  • Training to develop new and updated knowledge and skills will be reduced for faculty and staff.
  • Participation in state, national and international conferences among faculty and staff will decrease.
  • Networking that results in opportunities for contracts and grants will be reduced.
  • Direct interactions between faculty and representatives of national and international publishers will be lessened.
