Accounting Club Officer
Elections
The
2007-2008 academic year is coming to an end. This means we will need to
elect the new officers for the 2008-2009 academic year. This is a one
year commitment. Each club has three E-board officer positions open.
They are President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Please e-mail Gary
Guo at gguo@csupomona.edu
for Beta Alpha Psi positions and
Han Xu at hyxu@csupomona.edu
for CPSA positions. The deadline is April 24th.
Beta Alpha Psi Spring
Initiation:
Beta Alpha Psi is having a
spring initiation for those who are interested in joining the club and
have met the minimum GPA requirements. This is the last opportunity
this year to join Beta Alpha Psi. Every candidate must have an overall
3.0 GPA and an overall 3.0 GPA in their upper division accounting
classes. The $100 new membership fee is valid for 3 quarters.
Initiation will take place on Tuesday April 22, 2008. The deadline to
turn in applications is Monday April 14, 2008 Please
download an application from this webpage and
turn in your dues to any Beta Alpha Psi officer or Dr. Martin.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Welcome to 2007-2008!
CPSA and BAY would like to extend a welcome to all new Freshmen who
have found their way to Cal Poly Pomona. We have arranged a few events
for you this quarter. A couple that you should be aware of are the
Welcome BBQ that is taking place on Saturday, October 6th and Meet the
Firms night on Thursday, October 11th. Details will be posted here on
the website and during weekly meetings.
CPSA & BAY Membership
For those accounting students looking for campus involvement and
leadership opportunities, CPSA & BAY are here for you! If you are
interested in become a member, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Weekly Meetings
Everyone is welcome
to come to our weekly meetings. They are held every Thursday at U-hour
(12pm) in room 6-227. Free food (not just pizza!) is
provided for all who attend.
If you are
interested in joining BAY or CPSA, just fill out an application and turn it into any
officer. If you have any questions, please feel free to email our
advisor, Dr. Rose Martin.
