Testing Hours

For Spring Quarter 2012, the Test Center will be open for campus testing on the following dates:

3/26-3/29, 4/2-4/5, 4/12, 4/17-4/20, 4/23-4/26, 5/1-5/3, 5/8-5/11, 5/14-5/18,

5/21-5/25, 5/29-6/1, 6/4-6/8, 6/11-6/13.

About the Test Center

The Test Center maintains a commitment to efficient, accurate, and timely service to the campus and community. Weekend testing programs are administered for course placement and graduation requirements in a fair and encouraging environment. Weekday testing to accommodate special needs is also offered.

Services provided by the Test Center include the following:

Registration and administration of CSU-mandated academic tests
Provision of registration materials for a variety of tests
Consultation on course placement
Information on standardized-test programs
Testing for outside-agency certification
Testing for correspondence and other distance-learning programs
Testing for off-campus, external degrees

Students receive timely information and assistance from Test Center staff regarding the university's testing requirements through:

Notification of testing dates
Interpretation of university testing policies
Arrangement for special-needs testing
Verification of student EPT, ELM, MPT, and GWT scores
Referral to resources for test preparation

Out of State Testing

If you live outside the state of California, been accepted to a CSU campus, and need to take the EPT or ELM test in your state, e-mail csuout-of-state@ets.org or phone (925) 808-2142. Out-of-state testing is arranged for the second week of the month. There is a fee of $50 for testing outside of California.
