We are glad that you have chosen Cal Poly Pomona to pursue your college education. You have most likely been directed to this page, because you have been identified as not having satisfied proficiency requirements in English and /or Mathematics.
EO1048 is an Executive Order issued by the Chancellor’s office of the California State University System requiring summer school (EarlyStart) for incoming freshman students who do not demonstrate readiness for college level math and/or English courses. Participation in the Early Start program is mandatory. Failure to enroll the summer 2014 can result in disenrollment for students who do not have an approved exemption on file by August 1, 2014. You will not be able to register for any course(s) Fall 2014.
EARLY START MUST KNOWS!
- Early Start Financial Aid Waivers only cover tuition cost (Books and Housing are not covered)
- The next Early Start English (ESE 5) course begins August 18, 2014 (this course is entirely online)
- August 13, 2014 is the last day to register and pay for courses begining August 18th.
- Class Schedules, room location, and instructors name can be located through your student center on BroncoDirect.
