Finance Information Systems

The Finance Information Systems (FIS) group is responsible to provide supports on the following accounting applications:

Common Financial System (CFS)

  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payables
    • Library Invoice Interface
    • Student Financial Refund Interface
  • Purchasing
  • Asset Management
  • AR/BI (TBD)

In addition, the FIS group and Budget Services provide joint-supports on the following customized campus-wide reporting application:

Bronco Interactive Dashboards - Finance (BID-F)

  • Departmental Financial Information
    • Department Summary
    • Summary by Chartfield
    • Individual PO Lookup
    • PO Lookup by Date

Human Resources Information Systems

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) group is responsible for provide application support to the following HR Modules:

  • Labor Cost Distribution
  • Position Management
  • Recruiting Solutions (Talent Acquisition Manager)
  • Base Benefits
  • State Controller's Office (SCO) Interface
  • Workforce Administration
  • Time & Labor
  • Payroll Input Process to the SCO Interface
  • Temporary Faculty
  • Enterprise Learning (Administer Training)
  • Employee Self Service

More HR Modules are in the works for Implementation: Benefits Administration (July 2008); Candidate Gateway for Recruiting Solutions (October 2008); and Absence Management (April/May 2009). Also, more Employee Service Functionality will be coming (October/November 2008). HRIS is supporting the Financial Aid and Payroll Offices to implement Federal Work Study.

Facilities Management and Planning Information Systems

The FPM Information Systems group provides support for the main applications which support the daily operations of the Facilities Planning and Management Department. There are a variety of systems used within FPM, but the two main systems are:

TMA Enterprise 8.032 – Facilities Management Database used to track: 

  • Work Order Requests
  • Key and Lock Information
  • Vehicle Management
  • Space Management.
  • Preventative Maintenance Scheduling
  • Materials/Inventory Management
  • Equipment Management

Prolog 2008 R1 – Prolog is a comprehensive Project Management Program used for all phases of a Construction Project which include:

  • Design, Construction, Inspection, and Close out phases of a project
  • Architect, Contractor and Sub-contractor information along with contracts
  • Document Control
  • Correspondence
