University Writing CenterDue to the Library expansion project the UWC has moved to a long term temporary location on the second floor of Building 1. The appointment desk is in room 220. Tutoring will occur in 220A and down the hall in 202A. Building 1 is the old administration building on the north side of the quad. (It's the building with the clock on the front.)

About University Writing Center The University Writing Center serves all Cal Poly Pomona students regardless of program or major. There is no charge. You can come in with any type of writing assignment at any stage of the process. We can help you understand the assignment and plan your paper. We can help you organize and revise your paper. We can even help you learn to proofread for your most common mistakes. We can also help you prepare for the Graduation Writing Test. We offer:
Hours During fall, winter, and spring quarters the Writing Center office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. In summer quarter we are open for tutoring Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but closed Fridays. Hours are reduced during finals week and quarter break, so it is best to call during those times. |
