2008-2009 Presidents Special Travel Fund for Students

The President's Special Travel Fund for Students isused to assist students with travel to professional meetings and other convocations to make original presentations based on creative or scholarly work they have done as students at Cal Poly Pomona. 2008 Student Research & Creative Activity Poster Competition

February 19-20, 2008 - CLOSED

This event showcases the variety of research and creative projects in which Cal Poly Pomona students are involved.  Entries are limited to student research and/or creative activities  conducted under the supervision of a Cal Poly Pomona faculty member, and students from across all disciplines are encouraged to enter their work.   Prizes will be awarded based on faculty judging.

Soutthern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR)

The Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) promotes awareness of faculty-mentored undergraduate research, scholarly, and creative activities as they exist in various disciplines and types of institutions. The one-day conference fosters appreciation of the valuable role these collaborations play in enhancing undergraduate education. SCCUR aims to develop a multidisciplinary and multicultural community of researchers, scholars and artists linked by a common enthusiasm for learning and discovery.

Students in all disciplines -- the creative and performing arts, engineering, humanities, natural and social sciences -- are invited to present their research, scholarship, and creative work during this celebration of undergraduate discovery.

 

2008 Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research - CLOSED

The Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research will be held on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona on November 22, 2008. The deadline for submission of abstracts is October 13th, and the deadline for registration is November 2nd. For more information please see the SCCUR 2008 website.

 

2007 Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research - CLOSED

The Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research will be held on the campus of CSU Los Angeles on November 17, 2007. The deadline for submission of abstracts will be in early October. All students are encouraged to participate. For further information
