Cal Poly Pomona

Welcome to ORSP

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) at Cal Poly Pomona assists faculty, staff, and students to obtain externally funded research support. We are a central source of information on major government agencies, foundations, and corporations which support research. Our staff is here to provide assistance to faculty and staff from development and planning through implementation. We can assist you in identifying potential extramural funding sources; developing budgets; completing applications; and assuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, and assist in negotiations with funding agencies.

New! Conflict of Interest Training for NIH-Funded Investigators

It is essential that all NIH-funded Institutions and Investigators are fully aware of their obligations under the financial conflict of interest regulation. To this end, NIH has developed a Web-based tutorial which reviews the requirements of the regulation. The tutorial is designed for use by Institutional officials responsible for managing NIH funded projects and for individuals who are responsible for the design, conduct or reporting of NIH-supported research. We encourage all NIH-funded investigators to take the tutorial (which can be accessed at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/policy/coi/index.htm).
