Prospective Student Tours

Greetings from Campus Tours at Cal Poly Pomona!

Thank you for your interest in a visiting our campus. Our 90 minute tours are led by one of our current Poly Pathfinders. During the walking tour you will learn about our campus history, visit distinctive areas of the campus and appreciate the academic and social life benefits of attending Cal Poly Pomona. We look forward to your visit!

Fall Quarter 2014 Campus Tours (August 25 - December 6)

Monday - Friday*

* Monday through Friday tours are not available from September 22 - 24 due to our Fall Student Training days and on the holidays listed below

Saturday*

  • 10:00 a.m.
  • 12:00 noon
  • 2:00 p.m.

* Saturday tours are ONLY available on the following dates:  September 6, 13, and 20; October 4, 11 and 25; November 1,8, and 15; December 6

Reservation Tips:

  • Under the Date and Time that you choose to attend please enter your Party/Group Size number in the box provided.
  • Please note that in order to consider your space reserved for a campus tour, you must receive an official Email Confirmation with your reserved date.  Within the Email Confirmation click on View Details and under Question Summary you will see the date and time selected and party number entered. 
  • If a day and date are not available then it will be grayed out.  A grayed out tour indicates that we have exceeded capacity and can no longer accept requests for that specific day and time. 
  • Please select one day and time for your visit.  If you would like to change or cancel your tour please email us at tours@csupomona.edu.

Special Tours

In addition to our general campus tours we are offering specific campus tours and presentations that begin at 1:00pm.  Space is limited and we encourage you to sign up early.

International Prospective Applicants (Friday, October 10)

This campus tour is for students whose permanent residence is outside the United States and will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree on an F1 student visa.  Click here to register.

Kellogg Honors College (Friday, October 24) - The Kellogg Honors College is a community of motivated high achieving students at Cal Poly Pomona.  The honors college promotes academic excellence and intellectual exploration through honors courses, civic engagement and special events. Click here to register.

Community College Transfer (Friday, October 24) - This campus tour is geared for prospective Transfer applicants who have completed 60 semester or  90 quarter units with grades of C or better at a community college or other university and plan to obtain an undergraduate degree.  Click here to register.

College of Engineering (Friday, October 31) - Cal Poly Pomona is widely recognized for its learn-by-doing philosophy.  As an Engineering student you will enjoy a unique blend of theory and practice to solve problems in a lab setting today, while you prepare to solve real-world problems tomorrow. Click here to register.

College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) (Friday, October 31) - The faculty and staff of the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences provide an excellent education for students desiring intellectual enrichment and career enhancement in the humanities, social sciences, and performing arts. College of Business Administration (Friday, November 7) - The College of Business Administration offers a hands-on learning approach to education that prepares students for a career in several business disciplines. University Holidays

The University will be closed on the following holidays during our Fall 2014 quarter:

  • Monday, September 1: Labor Day holiday
  • Tuesday, November 11: Veteran’s Day holiday
  • Thursday, November 27: Thanksgiving Day holiday
  • Friday, November 28: Columbus Day holiday (rescheduled)
  • Friday, December 25 through January 2: Winter Break
