General Information

The Book Club is open to any student, staff, or faculty member who enjoys having interesting conversations about good novels.

The Book Club meets three to four times per quarter. The first meeting is designed to welcome new and returning members and to introduce the novel. The remaining two to three meetings focus on open group discussion. Depending on the size of the group, the members may be split into smaller groups for discussion.

The Book Club reads a new novel each quarter. Members select novels at the last meeting of the prior quarter. The College Reading Skills Program purchases a limited number of novels and loans them out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Program participants receive priority.

Tentative meeting dates are Thursday of the 3rd, 5th, and 7th week of the quarter from 12pm-12:50pm and are held in the library's special events room, 4928.
