An endowment named in honor of an individual or a family can be established for a minimum gift of $10,000. These gifts can be designated to support a particular area of the collections or the Library. Endowments provide supplemental funding for the Library in perpetuity, and provides annual income to enhance Library services and resources in ways that go far beyond base budgets. Endowments are truly gifts that live forever.

This endowment was established in 1989 and was created to provide additional funds for the Library collections in general. The endowment, which is unnamed, provides annual income that is used to supplement areas of the collection where the need is the greatest.
