Functions
In 2006-07, Administrative Computing merged with the PeopleSoft Executive Committee. Their charge is to set priorities for administrative computing projects, purchases, and systems development and develop overall strategy to support the administrative goals outlined by the IT Governance Executive Committee. In particular, the committee will remain informed of progress on the Intranet replacement project, and provide advice. They will set priorities and provide oversight and approvals for new functionality and modifications of the PeopleSoft HRSA and Finance systems.

Charge for 2007-2008
The Administrative Computing Committee’s 2007-08 charge is to remain informed of progress on the Intranet replacement project and provide advice, and to set priorities and provide oversight and approvals for new functionality and modifications of PeopleSoft and BroncoDirect. Specifically, new functionality includes:
- Support for spring registration for fall quarter moving registration up to May (from August);
- Development of online registration for Open University students;
- Investigate wait listing;
- Tracking and reporting on the impact of the first year experiences;
- Reporting to the IT Governance Executive Committee on the BroncoDirect Satisfaction survey which we launched about a month ago and compare these findings with the results that we received from the last two years.
- We will be working with Administrative Affairs in providing self-service functions for employees;
- Explore options for maintaining emergency contact information in PeopleSoft;
- Explore options for maintaining parent information in PeopleSoft; and
- Explore options for a campus portal that provides a point of entry to many of the campus information systems and services. We hear from people who want to get to all our services through the same front door.
