International CenterCal Poly English Language Institute (CPELI): The Cal Poly English Language Institute (CPELI) is a separate program offered by the International Center specifically for English language training. Students often enroll at CPELI before applying to the university or to another US educational institution in order to prepare for the TOEFL and the rigors of studying at the university level in English.
