Cal Poly Pomona

Faculty members who would like to receive technology assistance in their own office can take advantage of the IT-FITS program (Instructional Technology Faculty In-Office Training and Support). This one-on-one support program is designed to facilitate faculty use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Student assistants are available for scheduled appointments Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

How can IT-FITS help me?

IT-FITS appointments can be arranged to help you learn how to:

  • Update your instructional website
  • Use features in any of Cal Poly Pomona's eLearning tools (Blackboard, Connect)
How does it work? There are three simple steps involved:
  1. Call (909) 869-3099; briefly describe your technology needs to the student assistant and provide him/her with a few days and times you are available to meet.

  2. Within 3 days you will be contacted by the student assistant who has been assigned to work with you based on your needs and the skill set of the student assistant.

  3. At the confirmed time the student assistant will come to your office to assist you. If you need follow-up help, you can make an appointment for a later time.
ATI-FITS

For assistance specific to accessibility, we have another support option called "ATI-FITS". Please contact Carol-Heins Gonzales at (909) 979-6457 or visit the ATI-FITS website at: http://www.csupomona.edu/accessibility/atifits.html.
