The second component of the Learning-Centered Technology Initiative is the distribution of laptops to individual tenured and tenure-track faculty members.
Through summer 2008 more than 800 new and upgraded laptops were procured and delivered.
Eligible faculty chose a Windows-based laptop or an Apple Macintosh MacBook Pro.
If faculty require assistance in choosing which laptop would best meet their needs, they may contact their college tech (http://www.csupomona.edu/~ehelp/techs.html) or Marcy Gates (mgates@csupomona.edu).
Faculty who received their laptops from 2004 through early 2006 will receive upgraded models in late summer or early fall 2008 based on the specifications below.
