“NCAA On Campus” will be seen on
Fox Sports Net on Tuesday, July 20, at noon; Wednesday, July 21 at 3 p.m. and
Monday, July 26 at 2:30 p.m. It will also be shown on Fox Sports Net 2 on
Wednesday, July 21 at
“NCAA On
Campus” is hosted on two sites each month, one from the West Coast. Previous
shows have been hosted by USC, UCLA,
“I was very excited to hear that Fox Sports Net was coming to our campus to tape their magazine show, “NCAA On Campus,’” Cal Poly Pomona interim Director of Athletics Glenn Shenker said. “This program will provide national exposure for our university and we are very pleased to be a part of it.”
At Cal Poly Pomona on Tuesday, a four-person Fox Sports Net crew, including host Patrick O’Neal and producer John Grogan, shot footage for the July program, including several scenic areas on the CPP campus.

aired. Ashman, who was a member of the 1980 Cal Poly Pomona
national championship team and has been the Bronco Head Coach for the past nine

student-athletes also took part in the filming. Women’s basketball player Britt
Sumida (Sr., Chino Hills, Ayala HS) and women’s tennis player Dehlia Feliz (Sr.,
Cal Poly Pomona is a member of the NCAA Division II and the California Collegiate Athletic Association. The Broncos have won 13 NCAA Division II championships, five in women’s basketball (1982, ’85, ’86, 2001 and ’02), four in women’s tennis (1980, ’81, ’91 and ’92), three in baseball (1976, ’80 and ’83) and one in men’s cross country (1983).
