Candace Geschke Game Management Coordinator

Candace Geschke begins her second year with the Athletic Department as the department's Game Management Coordinator.

She is the event staff supervisor, overseeing more than 15 student employees.

In her first year, Geschke was the Marketing & Event Management Intern and assisted with game-day promotions while coordinating the “Passport to Excellence” program to boost attendance at home basketball games.

A Cal Poly Pomona graduate, Geschke graduated June 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.6. She was on the Dean’s List every year since enrolling at Cal Poly Pomona.

The 22-year-old grew up in Elkhart, Indiana where she graduated with honors from Jimtown High School.

The number one pitcher for her softball team, Geschke earned All-Conference pitcher, and was an alternate for the All-city Team. After a severe shoulder injury Geschke was unable to pursue college ball, but continues to be a fan of the sport.

Geschke moved to California four years ago, and currently resides in Corona.
