For the fourth year in a row, Cal Poly Pomona was the leading participant at the Southern California Conference on Undergraduate Research (SCCUR). More than 70 undergraduate students from 20 different academic departments presented research posters or talks at the recent SCCUR conference at Mt. San Antonio College. Cal Poly Pomona’s Biology and Geology departments have been awarded a $1.4 million grant to improve pathways for Pasadena City College (PCC) students who are interested in continuing their environmental science studies at Cal Poly Pomona. Read more.
In 2010, President Ortiz launched a five year comprehensive fundraising campaign designed to raise over $150 million for Cal Poly Pomona. Fundraising goals include improving opportunities for undergraduate students to engage in collaborative research, scholarship, and creative activity with faculty mentors across academic disciplines.
