Welcome to our homepage.

The purpose of Tau Alpha Pi is to recognize and inspire scholarship, fine character, and leadership qualities. Tau Alpha Pi is not a club. Tau Alpha Pi is the national honor society for Engineering Technologies.

Tau Alpha Pi for Engineering Technologies was created in 1973 by its current executive directer Dr.Fredrick J. Berger.  Tau Alpha Pi may elect to membership the highest four percent of an institution's total engineering technology enrollment in a given term.

Chapters, once chartered, are autonomous but they operate in a manner consistent with the letter and the spirit of the umbrella constitution. Their activities must be fitting for an honor society. Funds raised must be for a worthy cause, endorsed by the chapter and its institution. Each chapter is responsible for maintaining financial records and for complying with tax regulations of its state and locality.

The Xi Alpha Chapter of Tau Alpha Pi is dedicated to the promotion of academic excellence through the acquisition of knowledge, outstanding scholarship, an on-going pursuit of wisdom, and the continued growth of personal integrity.n.
