An author, filmmaker, scholar and frequent lecturer at colleges and universities, Saul Landau has been affiliated with California State Polytechnic University, Pomona since 1998. He has been a senior fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C. since 1972, and at the Transnational Institute in Amsterdam since 1974. He is also a political analyst and commentator for Pacifica Radio Network News

His writings have appeared in the New York Times and the Washington Post, and he is the author of an Edgar Award winning book, "Assasination on Embassy Row", a report on the murder of Chilean activist, Orlando Letelier. His latest book, Red Hot Radio, is a collections of his commentaries featured on the Pacifica Radio Network News. Saul Landau's documentary films include: The Sixth Sun, about the Mayan uprising in Chiapas and the Mexican government's response. Who Shot Alexander Hamilton, The Jail, Quest for Power, and in collaboration with Haskell Wexler, the Emmy award winning, Paul Jacobs and the Nuclear Gang, about the effects of low-level radiation on a community near an atomic test site. Saul hosts, "Hot Talk", a series of interviews with prominent actors, filmmakers, journalists, and politcal activists. His recent projects at Cal Poly Pomona include the documentary films, "Cuba Today", "Maquiladora: A Tale of Two Mexicos", and "Same River Twice", a telenovela drawn from current community issues in the Pomona Valley of Southern California.
