Mission Statement
The Office of Research and Graduate Studies advances learning and knowledge by providing leadership and support for faculty, staff and students in the pursuit of excellence in graduate education, and in scholarly and service activities.
In pursuit of this mission, the following are the goals of the Office of Research and Graduate Studies:
- Provide leadership and support services to the University to increase grant and contract funding and to enhance faculty, staff and student participation in research and scholarly endeavors.
- Facilitate the creation of external funding partnerships that benefit the University and its broader community.
- Provide information to prospective and current graduate students to facilitate entry into, and completion of, graduate programs, and maintain all related documents.
- Support undergraduate students in awareness and pursuit of graduate education and research.
- Help faculty, staff and students comply with regulations governing graduate education, research and sponsored programs.
- Oversee the creation, support, and academic integrity of graduate programs.
- Provide courteous, timely and professional service to faculty, staff and students
