The department offers the BS degree in Physics, and is one of the largest in the California State University system, serving about 70 Physics majors and a much larger number of other students through its service and general education courses.
The department currently has 17 tenure track faculty with interests in a variety of areas of Physics, but with special strength in the area of Physics Education.
