National Girls & Women In Sports Day
Feb. 23 - The commemorative day serves to bring national attention to the achievements of women athletes, and to the challenges and issues facing females in sports. Cal Poly Pomona's celebration features sports clinics that are free to girls age 5 through 12. Athletic trainers will also host a health and nutrition discussions. The Myth of Pomona
Feb. 23 to March 3 - The original production will tell the city of Pomona's story through the eyes fo its residents. The play will also draw fresh parallels between the experiences of Pomona, the little-known Roman goddess of fruits and harvest, and her namesake city. Transfer Day

March 15 - Transfer students considering a switch to Cal Poly Pomona will learn about the university's programs and services, transfer policies adn internship possibilities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union. Feel the Music

March 16 - Co-sponsored by Cal Poly Pomona, the city of Pomona and several area institutions, Feel the Music provides a rare opportunity for locals to experience the Los Angeles Philharmonic right in their own backyards. BroncoFest 2002
April 18 - BroncoFest, an annual Spring Festival designed to bring together the campus community and surrounding neighborhoods, will feature a full day of activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Festival highlights include numerous live bands, interactive games, children's activities, food and cultural programs—plenty of fun for the entire family!
