(1) With a “B” or better in both MAT 105 and MAT 106 (or their equivalent), you may skip MAT 112.

* Either MAT 105 or MAT 106 must have been completed within the last three quarters to place into MAT 112, MAT 114, or MAT 130.

(2) With a “B” or better in MAT 106, you may skip MAT 112. If you earn a grade of “C”, “C+”, or “B-“ in MAT 106, you must take MAT 112. With a grade of “C-“ or lower you must retake MAT 106. See Math and Stats Department to enable online registration for MAT 112. Footnote #1 does not apply to this placement.

(3) With a “C” or better in MAT 106 you may take MAT 114 or 130. See Math Dept. in 813 to enable On-Line Registration for Math 114 or 130.

(4) With a “B” or better in MAT 105 you may skip MAT 112. If you earn a grade of “C”, “C+”, or “B-“ in MAT 105 you must take MAT 112. With a grade of “C-“ or lower you must retake MAT 105.

X If your score is in a box with an X in it, you do not need to take MAT 106 as a prerequisite to get into PHY 121/121L. See Physics Department on the second floor of Building 8 for a permission number.
