Where do I find books about nonprofits I can take home?

Library Catalog: Subject <S> option from the menu; enter Library of Congress Subject Headings:

corporations, nonprofit.  
charitable uses, trusts, and foundations
unincorporated societies

You can also use the Keyword <K> option and enter related terms.  For example: nonprofit management.

There is no single range of numbers for the books about nonprofit corporations; two of the most common are HD62.6 (on the Sixth Floor) and HG4027.65 (on the Fifth Floor).

Lexis/Nexis Universe  Databases 
Full text news; there is a category for “Company News.”

Sociological Abstracts  Databases
Includes articles about grants, philanthropy, the nonprofit sector and the like.

Business Full Text (Wilson Web)  Databases Some 350 essential business periodicals are included in this index; abstracts, and some full text.
