Use the library catalog to search for books the library owns.

Suggestion: When searching for books, limit your search to one decade at a time so you can more easily notice and understand the varying interpretations of history over time.

There are many books that you won't find in the stacks. Any print book that the library does not own can usually be requested through Link+ or Document Delivery. You can also suggest titles for purchase.

The library also subscribes to several e-book databases that contain history-oriented titles. There are two main ways to search for them, via the library catalog or within an e-book database.

E-books, like their print counterparts, have a cover, table of contents with chapter headings, and index. The main difference is they're meant to be read online. E-book databases usually allow users to print out only a certain number of pages. Beyond that the print feature often becomes disabled.
