The Cal Poly Pomona Library has a large collection of reports from NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NACA, National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, was the predecessor to NASA, and the Library also has many NACA reports.
NTRS: NASA Technical Report Server
Provides access to NASA generated and NASA sponsored scientific and technical literature. Reports and articles from other sources are also included (e.g., arXiv, BioMed Central, and Energy Citation Database). You must use Advanced Search to include non-NASA material (see About NTRS).
NACA Technical Report Server
Full text reports from the NASA predecessor, National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics.
If you can't find the reports you need on the Technical Report Server, try Document Delivery. Provide as much information as possible on the request form, especially: report number, title, author, and publication date.
Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty, and staff who would like assistance with their research can contact the Engineering Librarian.
Through 1991 the Cal Poly Pomona Library received nearly every report in the series listed below. From 1992 - 1994, only reports in certain subject categories were received. Our subscription to NASA reports ceased at the end of 1994 and since 1995 the Library has only ordered NASA reports requested by Cal Poly Pomona students or faculty.
It's not always easy to determine if a particular report is available in the Library. You can search the Library Catalog by report title or report number, but many reports have not been individually cataloged. You can also go to the shelf location (call number) noted below for the series and look for the report number. Please don't hesitate ask at the Reference Desk if you need help locating specific reports.
