THE CAREER GUIDE.

Provides up-to-date information on perspective employers and career opportunities. Employers are listed alphabetically, geographically, and by industry. A section arranged by discipline hire (i.e. an accounting degree, liberal arts, etc.) is also included. Has a section on how to conduct a job search.

DICTIONARY OF OCCUPATIONAL TITLES.

Relates a wide range of occupational information with application to job placement, occupational research, career guidance, labor-market information, curriculum development and long range job planning. Entries are arranged by occupational code. Included is an alphabetical index by occupational title, an industry index, and occupational titles arranged within industry designations.

Career Subject Search

For books dealing with careers in a particular major or field, do a subject search in the Library Catalog.  Type in the major or field along with the term 'vocational' (for example, agriculture vocational, sociology vocational).
