A closed stack collection of short-term loan materials placed on Reserve by instructors for students enrolled in their classes, plus various other materials needing special handling.
Faculty-owned books, instructor homework solutions, library books, controversial topics series, California Assembly/Senate bills, Cal Poly Pomona senior projects, tax forms, Cal Poly Pomona University catalogs and class schedules.
Currently registered Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty and staff as well as Extended University students, I-Poly High School students and special program enrollees. All users MUST present a valid Cal Poly Pomona ID, University Library Card. Refer to Circulation Web pages.

Loan periods of 2 hours, 2 days or 7-day checkout are designated by the instructors for their courses. Fees are assessed at $.50 an hour to $1.00 a day with a maximum fee of $25.00 per item. A schedule is available at the Circulation Desk.

When the Library is closed use the book return Bin on the 1st floor located outside the Library's main entrance.
At the Circulation Desk, by call number, which can be found in the Library Catalog under Course Reserves. The call number is the number next to the title of the item. Reserve materials may be searched from any workstation in the Library.
Electronic Reserve is an on-line web based service designed to enhance access to reserve materials. Electronic Reserve allows students to view, download and/or print full-text materials submitted by the faculty to support classroom instruction.
Students can use reserve materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any computer with an internet connection. Students no longer have to worry about damaged, lost or overdue reserve materials. Many students can use the same electronic reserve item simultaneously. And, there are no fees for electronic reserve items.
No. Physical reserves and electronic reserves are both available through the University Library. Faculty may use one or both.
