The subject specialists above make up the Collection Management Team, which is responsible for selecting materials in all formats for the Library's collections -- books, journals, maps, recordings, and electronic resources. Subject Specialist Librarians (called "Bibliographers") are assigned specific subject areas and are responsible for selecting materials and managing the budget for that subject. Subject Specialists also serve as liaisons to the departments and colleges.
