The death of every significant person in my life has been from cancer or heart disease.
Breast cancer was found a few weeks after the birth of her second child, Liza. It spread rapidly. She died six-months later at the age of 30. The cause may have been heredity, high fat diet and much stress.
Another significant person in my life was a mentor, Mr. Lederer. He died during open heart surgery. Cigarette smoking caused his heart disease.
