Vision
Health Promotion
- Student Health Services - Cal Poly Pomona
Cal Poly Pomona will have a community of
very healthy students, faculty and staff. Health Promotion will
be a national model of a service with distinguishing characteristics
of:
- A service that provides an extraordinary
education by blending theory with practice, maximizing the contact
and accessibility of health promotion staff to students, and
providing a strong foundation for use of health enhancing behaviors;
- A service that addresses the campus societal
needs through needs assessment, research, education, motivation
and the development of students supporting others in the use
of those behaviors;
- A service that has an integrated technology
strategy to support teaching and learning.
This vision statement duplicates much of
the wording in Cal Poly Pomona's vision
statement.
