Values

Values are closely inter-related to your vision, mission and goals (be sure to check out the other pages at this web site that describe vision, mission and goals). Researchers have found that people who have, with their vision, "core articulated values" (put out in public) plus an "inherent mission, a reason for being) show significantly better success and performance at achieving goals. The character of the university is determined by the values to which its faculty and staff are committed, and are shared with its students. These values are the basic principles underlying everything the university does, making it what it is. The following are values embraced at Cal Poly Pomona.
