HISTOGRAM
Note: In addition to this procedure, histograms can also be generated using “Descriptives” or “Explore.”
From the menu bar, click on “Graphs,” "Interactive," and "Histogram...." In the left window, select the variable you wish to analyze, and drag and drop it into the second window on the right.
If you wish to superimpose a normal curve on the histogram, click on the "Histogram" tab; check the box next to "Normal curve."
Click on the “Titles” tab and enter the title(s) you wish for your chart.
If you don't want color in your chart, click on the “Options" tab and select "Grayscale."
Click on "OK."
