Image Archiving Systems Associated with the Microscopy Center

Smart & Friendly CD-ROM Writer (Fig. 9A) is used to store electronic image, text or audio files onto CD-ROMs. 

Pioneer 6-CD Changer (Fig. 9A) is used to archive CD-ROMs used during a  particular quarter to be
accessed by students through the internet.  This system will soon be replaced by a dedicated 40+ GB
hard drive that will have the capability of  storing large electronic course files.

Agfa Duoscan High Density Scanner (Fig. 9B) is used to digitize negatives, electron micro-graphs, and photographs for  archiving electronic image files.

Fig. 9C Large format Poster Printer is used to print out  posters for the presentation of scientific data at Professonal meetings.
