WELCOME TO BIOLOGY 301!

Many students have commented that BIO 301 was the most important course they have taken at Cal Poly Pomona. Here are some quotes from former BIO 301 students:

  • "This course changed my life!"

  • "I thought I knew a lot about human sexuality until I took this class. Now I look at everything differently."

  • "Some of the material is kind of scary, like breast cancer, prostate cancer and AIDS. But this information is very important. I'm so glad I took this course."

  • "I guess you can say my view on sexuality is completely different now. My thoughts have really changed."

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Factual coverage of all aspects of human sexuality through discussions, lectures, audiovisual material and guest speakers. Topics include myths and misconceptions; sexual response, birth control; sex and the law; fertilization, pregnancy and childbirth; diseases and dysfunctions; sex and drugs; genital structure and function and recent developments in the study of human sexuality.
