Bot 421: Plant Ecology (3)

A survey of the interactions between plants and the environment. Examination of the classification, development and structure of major vegetation types, plant communities, and ecosystems. Introduction to the effects of climate, soil and animals on plant growth, development, reproduction, and distribution. 3 lectures/problem-solving, 1 three-hour laboratory.
