Client Configuration Guide: Netscape 7.x (PC/Mac)
Make sure you have completed the
basic setup of SpamAssassin
Open your Netscape Browser application
From the "Window" menu, select “Mail and Newsgroups…”
From the "File" menu, select "New" and "Folder..."
Give the folder a name (i.e. Spam)
Select the "New" button
From the "Tools" menu, select "Message Filters..."
Select the "New" button
Give the filter name a label (i.e. X-Spam-Flag)
Verify that the radio button "Match any of the following" is selected
Select the "Subject" drop-down box and select "Customize..."
Under "New message header" type
X-Spam-Flag
Then select the "Add" button to add the header
Select "OK" to close this box
Again, select the "Subject" drop-down box
Select the option
X-Spam-Flag
Verify the second drop-down box is set for "contains"
Within the text box, type
YES
Under "Perform this action", verify that "Move to folder" is selected
Select the folder you just created (i.e. Spam).
Select "OK" to close and save the filter.
