LCT Initiative: Support And Training

Classroom Equipment Support

Classroom equipment is supported and maintained by I&IT Projects & Services(some colleges also support specialized equipment in their own classrooms). Problems with classroom equipment should be reported to the Cal Poly Pomona Help Desk (909.869.6776). Representatives of the Help Desk will contact the appropriate personnel. Faculty should not attempt to repair classroom equipment themselves.

Laptop Hardware and Software Support

Support of faculty laptops distributed through the LCT Initiative is available from the college or department campus technicians. For a list, see Techs.

Training for Software

I&IT Learning offers workshops on a variety of subjects, including design of online instruction and use of the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS), web and graphic design for instruction and more. Online support and training is available through eHelp. And at any time, you can also request additional one-on-one support through the IT-FITS program by calling Studio Six at X3099.
