Research Resources in Women's Studies

This web site includes information about doing research in the field of Women's Studies, pertinent library resources, and links to selective electronic resources. If you cannot find what you're looking for within this site, or if you have a specific research need in mind, please consult a Reference Librarian.

Since Women's Studies is interdisciplinary, books in this disciplinine can be found under various call numbers such as, E184 (for various ethnicities), HM-HV and J (for sociological or political issues), LB (issues dealing with education), PN, PR, and PS (for ethnic/women's literature and writers), and RA, RC, and RJ (health related issues). All are shelved on the fourth floor, except for the R call numbers which are on the third floor of the University Library. Reference titles can be found under these call numbers on the first floor reference shelves.

(These suggested Library of Congress call numbers are for shelf browsing purposes only, and are by no means comprehensive. Please search the Library Catalog for a more precise match for your topics.)
