Information on Senior Project

The Senior Project is the capstone of the ECE program. It's where students apply what they've been learning to spec, design, build and test a project of their choice. Students can do either individual projects or participate in group projects.

INDIVIDUAL SENIOR PROJECTS
Students can chose to enroll in individual Senior Projects. The student is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and demonstrating his project.

GROUP SENIOR PROJECTS
As mentioned above students can also participate in group Senior Projects. In contrast to the individual project, one of the main challenges of the group project is for the group as a whole to agree not only on the design but also on who is going to do what. Good communication and people skills are of critical importance to not only insure that everyone is doing their fair share but also that the project as a whole works when all the "pieces" designed by different people are put together in the final assembly.
