Each student is allowed 1 notetaker per class. Students should seek out volunteer notetakers from each class during the first week of the quarter. Notetakers can be obtained in one of two ways:

1) the DSS student can approach and ask a classmate to become their notetaker or
2) the DSS student can ask the instructor to make an announcement in class requesting notetakers for the student.

Instruction packets for volunteer notetakers will be available for pick-up during the first week of the quarter. The Volunteer Verification form must be signed by the DSS student and the volunteer must complete and turn in the paperwork to the DSS office by the 3rd week of the quarter.

DSS will help you find volunteers after you have tried to obtain them yourself and have been unsuccessful. It is the student's responsibility to inform us if you need assistance.
